“Busman’s Holiday”
We went to Antwerp today by bus (Philippine to Terneuzen, Hulst to Antwerp) to visit the Plantin Moretus museum, a printing house that is still intact from the 1500’s.

Their typecasting room was on the 3rd floor with stone floors to keep from having problems with the molten metal. It looked out on the lovely courtyart below. There were wooden hand presses, punches, matrices and books to see. We took the Euroline bus from Antwerp to London overnight; not much sleep but saw the white cliffs of Dover as we came in on the ferry, and the Thames coming into London. Got settled into a hostel for the night.
